Location: Denver, CO
Hours: Salaried, full-time
Reports to: Soccer for Success Program Director
Soccer for Success Program and Job Summary: Soccer for Success is the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s innovative youth development program that uses soccer as a tool to combat childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles for children in low-income urban communities. Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club and America SCORES Denver have partnered to bring this unique program to children in Denver and Aurora. The Program Assistant will function as part of a team and will work with the Program Director to implement all aspects of this after-school program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain partnerships and relationships with targeted schools in Denver and Aurora, securing facilities to run program
· Assist in the recruitment, hiring and managing of site coordinators and coaches at each school
· Work closely with site coordinators to register children at each school
· Register all students at each school
· Organize and distribute equipment for each site including balls, cones, pinnies and uniforms to each child in partnership with site coordinators
· Ensure Soccer for Success curriculum is effectively implemented at each school
o 60 minutes of exercise/playing, 30 minutes of education on healthy living
· Organize the collection of attendance, fitness and evaluation data for program participants, as required by the U.S. Soccer Foundation
· Organize two community events each year for current and potential program participants
· Work closely with the Program Director and Soccer for Success Leadership Team to ensure success of the program
· Assist in the training of all Site Coordinators and Coaches in the Soccer for Success program
· Attend all necessary trainings as required by the U.S. Soccer Foundation

· Bilingual in English and Spanish
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Experience working in the sports based youth development field
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience working as part of a team
