GENERAL MANAGER POSITION
About the Position
Stingers Soccer Club (a Jefferson County, CO nonprofit) is soliciting interest for a General Manager who has a passion for leadership, vision, and strategy, but doesn’t mind working on all aspects of an up-and-coming soccer club with an equally dedicated group of volunteers, staff, coaches, parents, and board members. Potential candidates should have at least one passionate connection to soccer (coaching, refereeing, volunteering, managing a club, or other connection) and be interested in being a community leader while making our small business succeed.
Our goals are long-term success for our families, in pursuit of athletics, and bettering oneself through leadership, teamwork, tenacity and competition.
The role is a full-time, salaried position charged with the strategic and tactical leadership while accomplishing all the day-to-day aspects of running a soccer club. The successful candidate will have a wide variety of business-oriented skills: handling administrative duties, excellent customer service, managing a wide variety of small to large details, high level of professionalism, and high-quality written communication skills in a variety of formats (email, memo, blog, website), building and presenting to the board a detailed budget, setting and working toward a long-term vision, AND working directly with staff, volunteers, parents, and the board to ensure the organization is seen as a leader within the community.
Stingers offices are located in Evergreen, Colorado and the successful applicant will have their own transportation, and be willing and able to travel up and down the front range related to the position.
