Recreational Registrar - COLORADO RAPIDS

Reports To: Director of Operations and Administration
The Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club is seeking a Recreational Registrar to administer our recreational programs through the development of innovative and high quality initiatives and high levels of customer service. Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer seeks an effective administrator who will serve as the primary administrator of all Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club recreational functions. This position is responsible for the organization and administration of Colorado Youth Soccer programming for U4-U18 recreational teams as well as a variety of office management duties.
Assist in the administration and planning for a variety of Rapids Youth Soccer Club programs, including: registration, staff education, risk management, scheduling of fields, and uniforms:
Oversee all aspects of recreational registration, including maintaining a database, player allocation, team formation and excellent customer service,
Schedule all recreational in-house and CSA league games,
Coordinate referees for recreational games,
Coordinate fields for all recreational programming,
Assist the Director of Operations and Administration in all administrative and budget responsibilities associated with the recreational teams,
Coordinate and complete the recruitment of volunteer team coaches.
In collaboration with the Marketing and Community Relations Manager coordinate and secure specified marketing initiatives,
Organize and coordinate seasonal coaches meetings,
Work closely with the Manager of Operations to monitor budgets, and,
Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency and formulate department policies and practices.
Coordinate and staff all Rapids Youth Soccer Club tournaments,
Create and maintain all club manuals relating to recreational teams,
Manage office and all administrative and organizational tasks in consultation with the Manager of Operations,
Coordinate, complete and submit all field and facility requests, and,
Coordinate field set up
? Expertise in Microsoft Office
? Excellent organizational skills
? Understanding of youth development and the youth soccer industry.
? Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and public speaking and to provide a high level of customer service
? Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task effectively
? Organizational and personnel management
? Volunteer management
? Fluency in Spanish preferred
? Must pass a background check
? Working knowledge of accounting practices preferred.
? Degree from accredited university in business, sports management, communication, or related major.
